A Fresh Start — Transforming Lives Through Skills, Purpose, and Resilience.

Imagine a program that does more than teach a skill. A Fresh Start, our skill development arm at our Enugu Skill Acquisition Centre, empowers vulnerable youth and adults to rebuild their futures with dignity, purpose, and practical know-how. We combine targeted, hands-on training in mushroom farming, snail farming, and cucumber cultivation with structured psychosocial support to produce measurable personal, economic, and community transformation.

A Fresh Start

A key feature of this initiative is the preliminary psychosocial engagement conducted prior to skill training. This phase stabilizes participants' emotional and mental states, heightening self-awareness and guiding them toward skill exploration based on their interests, while steering them away from negative behaviors.

  • The first step is to participate and successfully pass out from our Psycho-Social engagement sessions held at our Resource Centre at independence Layout Enugu.

  • The duration of each skill acquisition programme (from start to finish) depends on the programme chosen.
