Day 2

Day 3

Community Outreaches

On January 31, 2025, we commenced our psychosocial and multi-sport activities with students of the Ogbete Enugu Special Education Center (Hearing and Speech Impaired). These engagements fostered inclusivity, self-discovery, and the unlocking of their potential, enabling them to recognize their abilities despite their disabilities.

A Psychosocial training session for personnel of Oji River Medium Custodial Centre was conducted on January 21, 2025, by Cope and Live Mental Health Awareness Foundation through our school - Coli Mental Health Academy. The session was facilitated by CAPIONG. The personnel were exposed to various issues related to brain health, emotions, behavior, and the effects of negative emotions on the human mind. They also learned about effective stress management techniques and strategies.

The Cope and Live Mental Health Awareness Foundation Skill Acquisition Center hosted a productive session that yielded positive outcomes. We provided psychosocial engagement and skill training in mushroom farming to various groups of individuals, offering them meaningful and sustainable pathways for development. This initiative underscores our commitment to sustainable development, life on land, quality education, meaningful partnerships, problem-solving and fostering resilience.

On April 8, 2025, we conducted a productive psychosocial engagement session with the players, coaches, and backroom staff of Lobi Stars FC Makurdi. The session focused on introducing them to key principles such as self-awareness, anger management, and brain health, equipping them with tools to enhance their productivity and well-being. #PlayersMentalHealth #SelfAwareness #BrainHealth #problemsolving
