EQ First with CASEL: Building Resilient Kids Who Thrive
Emotional intelligence is a core foundation of SEL and lifelong success. Cognitive ability, curriculum, and technology work best when paired with the capacity to recognize emotions, regulate impulses, read social cues, build trust, and make thoughtful decisions under pressure.
The COPE AND LIVE MENTAL HEALTH AWARENESS FOUNDATION, in partnership with COLI MENTAL HEALTH ACADEMY, develops these skills in children through the CASEL framework (Collaborative for Academic, Social, and Emotional Learning; casel.org).
In our upcoming GLOWPULSE EQ BOOTCAMP 2.0, we adopt this CASEL-based focus on emotional intelligence—Self-Awareness, Self-Management, Social Awareness, Relationship Skills, and Responsible Decision-Making—alongside practical topics that equip children for real-world challenges, including: Leadership Training, Play Therapy and Art Therapy, Online Safety, Choosing the Right Career Path, Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR), Christian Morals and Values, Cancer Awareness in Children, and more.
Together, these elements build resilient, self-directed young people who can use their full abilities when it matters most.
