Weaving Safety Nets In Children: EQ, Leadership & Digital Responsibility

01

The best way to prepare children for the world is to equip them before they have to face it.

Day 2 of GlowPulse 2.0 brought together three essential conversations: leadership, digital responsibility, and self-awareness.

Our 41 child participants had the privilege of learning from:

Mr. Chukwuma Okenwa, Founder of Lead Network Africa, who introduced the principles of purposeful leadership. He emphasized that true leadership is not defined by titles or positions, but by the ability to influence, support, and empower others.

Mr. Onyedikachi Bernard Asadu (popularly known as The King of Boys) spoke on digital responsibility, underscoring the importance of intentionality and safety in the digital spaces children occupy.

Coach Uzoamaka Nwachukwu,  Co-founder of Cope and Live Mental Health Awareness Foundation & COLI Mental Health Academy, guided the children through self-awareness as the foundation of emotional intelligence. She helped them understand that knowing oneself is a critical first step toward understanding and relating effectively with others.

The sessions went beyond passive listening. The children actively participated, asked thoughtful questions, shared their perspectives, and thoroughly enjoyed the experience.

We believe that preparing children for the future extends far beyond academics. They also require emotional awareness, leadership skills, and digital responsibility to navigate the world confidently and responsibly.

This is precisely what we are building—one meaningful conversation at a time.

Day 2 complete. Two more days to go.
